One Shoulder Baby Carrier Grey

I tried a few different carriers with hip seat, and this one was the best. It has a hard foam insert instead of a hard plastic insert, which makes it more comfortable. The hard plastic digs into the hip more than the foam. The addition of the shoulder strap is also nice because it helps to hold the seat in place so it doesn’t slide down into the hip as much. My only complain is that the Velcro snags on my clothing, but I was able to easily fix this by covering the exposed Velcro with felt. Overall, this is a more comfortable option for a hip seat carrier than others I tried.

I had to cut the shoulder strap off. I still use the the base for now but having that strap really did help ease the strain on my body. I want to give it five stars; had the zipper not been faulty, I would have.

I bought this to save my back when carrying my 14 month old granddaughter. It really saves my back. Great purchase! Would recommend.

If you're looking for a sling style carrier that offers more support than a traditional sling carrier, this is the one for you. It's comfortably padded, has easy to adjust straps, and does a really nice job distributing the weight. It's also easy to put on and remove, particularly in comparison to strap-in carriers that sometimes require a half-dozen adjustments and assistance to put on.Whereas traditional sling/sash style carriers can create pressure points / focus areas of strain, this carrier feels better balanced - my wife prefers it to her sash carrier. Because the seat is rigid it adds much more structure to the entire setup, really creating an entirely different carrying experience reduces discomfort and extends the amount of time you're able to carry the baby comfortably for.Beyond being very functional, it also has a nice modern look to it. The fabric has a clean neutral design, and doesn't have the "cheap" look that certain other carriers can have. This is ultimately a nice sort of combination carrier that offers the convenience of a simple sash carrier with some of the added support that a strap-in carrier offers - making it ideal for times where you want to carry the baby for a decent amount of time, but don't want to deal with the hassle (or don't need the complete functionality) of a a strap-in pack style carrier. It's also perfect for situations where you might be switching back and forth between carrying the baby and not, since it's a very easy "on / off" style carrier.

This is a huge help when your child must be carried. This does not hold your child to you. You still must hold onto your child, but this helps distribute their weight. There are grippy things on the seat to help with sliding. This is a back saver.
